Physical therapy is a health care specialty involved with evaluating, managing, and treating disorders and injuries of the musculoskeletal system as well as rehabilitate
patients after orthopaedic surgery. The ultimate goal of physical therapy is to restore maximal functional independence to each individual patient. To achieve this goal, exercise, heat, cold,
electricity, ultrasound and massage are utilized.
Our Physical therapists evaluate, treat, and manage the physical therapy treatment plan, customizing it to each individual’s needs,
to restore movement and function helping patients return to their prior level of independence. They are trained in the treatment of post operative joints, acute sports injuries, arthritis,
joint mobilizations, strength training, hot/cold packs, and electrical stimulation.
